hankfully, my mother knows not of the violent tendencies I have when given the option. She chooses to stay blissfully unaware of the sometimes overly-violent scenes portrayed in the games that I play. Such is probably for the best. But Dead Space 2′s newest advertising campaign blurs that unaware line that separates generations. Recently, they took a sample of moms and (seemingly) forced them to watch some of the most violent scenes from the upcoming Visceral Games/Electronic Arts title-Dead Space 2.

As an Xbox360 owner, I’m jealous. Multiple sources have now rumored that a future partnership between Sony and Valve is in the works slated to start with the mid-April release of Portal 2. This partnership would almost definitely conclude in unrivaled advances in gaming; this could possible result in a console/PC equilibrium which would give both a fair treatment.
