On November 11th, 2011, Bethesda is releasing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and has offered a significant reward to any couple that has a baby born on that day and names it Dovahkiin. On their blog, they announced that February 18th was the ideal day to conceive in order to have a child on 11/11/11, but I’m guessing you’re still in the range for a mid-November due date. If you actually have a baby on November 11th, and actually name it Dovahkiin, then Bethesda is offering you every game they’ve ever made, every game they’re making currently, and every game they will make until the day you die. More details after the jump.
From their blog:
If anyone is seriously considering this, we’ve got a few ideas in mind for a collection of quest rewards. How’s this for a shower gift: a Steam key that will grant you, and presumably Dovahkiin him/herself, every ZeniMax/Bethesda game — past, present and future — for life. Once your child eventually achieves cognition — and grows old enough to play intense video games — we think it will agree that this key blows away a pink pleated onesie. As for the rest of the loot, we’ll leave it as a surprise.
There you have it! So, if you plan on entering this contest, you better get to work.
